Executive Leaders
Paul Levin, President of WPL has published, written and contributed to numerous newsletters, magazines and publications including Construction Contract Claims and Changes & Dispute Resolution. He possesses a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland and Masters degree in Engineering Administration from George Washington University. Mr. Levin has worked as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and served as a Senior Consultant with Revay & Associates. specializing in scheduling, cost control, dispute resolution and project management oversight for owners and contractors.
Barbara J. Bauer, Vice President, joined WPL in 2009. Her publishing career spans 20 years, during which time she served as marketer to dozens of b2b and consumer magazines, newsletters professional books, conferences and online news products. Prior to WPL, Barbara served on the executive management team responsible for growing products in the international arena, expanding new online products – and was a key member of the strategic management team instituting a company integration at Elsevier Business Intelligence. Barbara started her career in advertising at Newsweek and Ziff-Davis Media in New York where she was instrumental in the launch of Yahoo Internet Magazine.
Burce Jervis, Esq, Senior editor for Construction Claims Advisor is the founding editor of Construction Claims Monthly and its sole editor from 1979 to 2006. He is a licensed attorney with more than 30 years experience in the construction law field. He previously represented contractors, subcontractors and sureties while with the Portland, Maine, law firm of Amerling & Burns. He is the founding editor of Construction Claims Citator and Federal Contract Disputes. He also co- authored the book Construction Law: Principles and Practice, published by the McGraw-Hill Book Co.
